The different sections of the IAA (AFIR-ERM, ASTIN, IAAHS, IAALS, IACA, and PBSS) will host the very 1st Joint Colloquium of all IAA Sections (JoCo2024) in the centre of Brussels from 22 to 25 September 2024.

The Institute of Actuaries in Belgium (IA|BE) invites all actuaries and section members from all around the world, as well as actuarial students, to discuss the latest research and actuarial challenges arising from new fields of professional and academic activity as well as from traditional work areas. The JoCo2024 Organizing Committee welcomes abstracts until 15 January 2024. We welcome presentations without a supporting paper. You can submit an abstract for a presentation even if you won’t provide a paper for the conference. The presentations for the congress program will be selected by 15 February 2024 and shortlisted speakers are requested to be available on-site for the event's dates in order to deliver their presentation live.

The author(s) of an accepted and presented paper will be eligible to be considered for Best Paper Award(s) to be assigned by the JoCo2024 and IAA Sections. To be eligible for the Best Paper Award(s), the author(s) must submit a full paper in English by 30 June 2024. Please note that presentations without a full paper submission are not eligible for a Best Paper Award.
